The 46-year-old dutchman Peter Aerts, a K-1 legend and a luminary in kick- and thaiboxing, has opted for KWON as his new sponsor.
Because of his incredibly strong high-kicks he got the nickname "the Dutch Lumberjack".
He started kickboxing when he was 14 years old. At the age of 20, he became heavyweight champion of IKBF (International Kick Boxing Federation) the first time.
Three years later he made his K-1 debut and over the next 5 years he won this tournament 3 times.
He also got six times WMAT (World Muay Thai Association) World Heavyweight Champion from 1991 to 1997.
At the age of 40 years he was the last time a finalist at the K-1 World Grand Prix after defeating the Champion Semmy Schilt in the semifinals.
